Issues in GitLab
An issue is a topic of controversy that can be debated or discussed. Examples of issues include government spending, pollution from fossil fuels and bias in news coverage. College writing assignments often ask you to analyze an issue and offer your own stance, based on careful observations and reflections and supported by research from reputable sources.
The word issue originally meant “to put forth,” such as when a celebrity issues a statement or the post office issues new stamps. The modern meaning of the word has expanded to refer to a controversial topic or a particular point in question, as when politicians say they want to discuss the issues.
You can create an issue in GitLab to track ideas and proposals or share them with your team. GitLab’s issue features let you manage tasks and assign them to individuals, making it easy to collaborate on projects.
In the song “Issues,” singer Jesse Michaels sings about a relationship with someone that he knows and loves but is not sure about. It is a very emotional and heartbreaking ballad, but Michaels also uses it to express his strong love for his family. He has performed the song at many music festivals and shows, including the Vans Warped Tour.
The band Issues formed in 2012 after original members Michael Bohn and Tyler Carter departed from Woe, Is Me. The group consists of keyboardist Ben Ferris, bassist Cory Ferris, guitarist AJ Rebollo and drummer Case Snedecor. They have received two accolades, including Alternative Press Music Awards Artist of the Year and Best New Talent the following year, and are signed to Rise Records.
